Minister of Oceans and Fisheries Kang Do-hyung attended the construction completion ceremony for the Busan Smart Aquaculture Cluster in Gijang-gun, Busan on Friday, December 20 and inspected the state-of-the-art land-based aquaculture facilities. This ceremony was attended by representatives from the relevant local governments, businesses, and organizations including the National Institute of Fisheries Science, Busan-si, Gijang-gun, Pukyong National University, GS E&C, and Myeongseon Marine Industry. The Smart Aquaculture Cluster is a large-scale aquaculture complex that demonstrates advanced data-based aquaculture technology and integrates related industries such as production, distribution, and processing.
