The MOF raised the red tide crisis warning from “Caution” to “Alert” in accordance with the Response Manual for Red Tide Disaster Crisis. Following the issuance of “Caution” for the red tide crisis warning, the MOF will quickly transform the red tide comprehensive situation room into an emergency response team, strengthen red tide surveillance in cooperation with local governments, Coast Guard, and other related organizations, and dedicate itself to preventing damage to fisheries by checking the status of control activities such as on-site guidance of aquaculture farms and spraying yellow soil daily.
