On May 29, the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries held the Oceans and Climate Change Forum at the Sofitel Ambassador Hotel in Seoul. The forum was organized to raise public awareness on the seriousness of climate change and to jointly establish policies to respond to climate change challenges. The forum was attended by representatives of the industry, academia, research, and government, who engaged in a lively discussion under the topic of “Strategies for climate change monitoring and prediction and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions for future generations.”
