On April 16th (Tuesday), Minister Kang Do-Hyung of Oceans and Fisheries met with officials from the Korea Ports & Harbours Association to discuss recent key issues in the ports sector. During the meeting, Minister Kang expressed his appreciation for the significant contributions made by the Association to the development of port technology and related industries in Korea, and the participants discussed in-depth the newly demanded functions and roles of ports in line with changing port trends such as climate change and the transition to eco-friendly and smart technologies.
