Minister Kang Do-Hyung of Oceans and Fisheries visited the Incheon Coastal Passenger Terminal in preparation for the New Year holidays to listen to the concerns of the islander passengers of Soya and Deokjeok Islands. He closely inspected the overall safety management status of the hull, engine facilities, life-saving equipment, fire extinguishing facilities, and passenger compliance with safety procedures of a passenger ship (Koreana) that was preparing for departure, in addition to checking on the readiness of special measures for passenger vessels for the upcoming New Year holidays.
