On November 17th, Minister Cho Seung Hwan of Oceans and Fisheries attended the signing ceremony of the Eco-Friendly Ship Fuel Bunkering Cooperative MoU between Busan Port Authority (BPA) and Ulsan Port Authority (UPA) held at the UPA headquarters. The MoU is a follow-up to the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries’ announcement of its Eco-Friendly Ship Fuel Supply Chain Establishment Plan at the Emergency Economic Ministerial Meeting on November 15th. The objectives of the MoU is to improve the competitive edge of Korean shipping and ports and further enhance cooperation and joint responses among MOF and the two Port Authorities in a rapidly changing eco-fuel supply market.
