The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and the National Maritime Museum have completed the renovation of the permanent exhibition halls of the National Maritime Museum and will be opening the halls on the third and fourth floors to the public from the afternoon of September 15th. The National Maritime Museum, which opened in July 2012, has been engaged in a project to completely revamp of its content offerings since last year to incorporate diverse feedback from visitors and to keep pace with the evolving exhibition culture. This renovation project of the permanent exhibition halls is the third of a series of renovation projects, following last year’s project for the special exhibition hall and that for the aquarium in February this year.
