On August 9th, Minister Cho Seung Hwan of Oceans and Fisheries met with Chairman Chey Tae-won of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry Building to discuss cooperation plans between Korean companies and the seafood industry to support seafood consumption. This meeting was successfully convened by MOF to request that the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry support domestic fisheries facing challenges due to recent heat waves and high water temperatures.
