Minister Cho Seung Hwan of Oceans and Fisheries selected eight promising startups with significant growth potential in the marine and fisheries sector as 'Prospective Ocean Star Companies’ and held an award ceremony with a business roundtable at its Sejong headquarters. MOF awarded certificates to the 2023 Prospective Ocean Star Companies and listened to their concerns and feedback during the meeting. MOF plans to come up with relevant improvement actions to provide concentrated support to these companies, including production of promotional videos, commercialization, marine and fisheries R&D, and investment sourcing.
