On July 14th, Minister Cho Seung Hwan of Oceans and Fisheries hosted a meeting at the Ministry’s Sejong government building to review the 'seafood consumption activation plans of public maritime and fisheries institutions.' The meeting was  held with the aim of promoting the safety of Korean seafood and drafting plans to activate its consumption in preparation against concerns about the potential drop in seafood consumption during the summer off season.
