The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries hosted the Korea Fishery Festival - Onnuri Gift Certificate Refund Event for four days from June 22ndto 25th. On the first day of the event on June 22nd, Minister Cho Seung Hwan of Oceans and Fisheries visited Jagalchi Market in Busan, clearly explaining to visitors and merchants that “our seafood is safe and sound.” He asked for their active participation with the aim of reviving seafood consumption, while inspecting distribution sites. Meanwhile, MOF plans to thoroughly manage the discount event, in partnership with local governments, to ensure the effectiveness of the event and compliance with the discount items and safety guidelines, including surprise checks.
