- Event to take place for three weeks from November 4th to 26th in line with the global high-consumption season - 

 The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries (Minister Cho Seung Hwan) will be hosting the 2023 K-Seafood Global Weeks event for nearly 3 weeks from November 4th (Saturday) to 26th (Sunday) to raise global awareness of Korean seafood products and to revitalize exports.

 In celebration of its 7th year, the K-Seafood Global Weeks event will simultaneously take place at 131 online and offline distribution stores in 17 countries, including the United States, China, Vietnam, and Australia, in line with global peak consumption events such as Singles’s Day (November 11th) in China and Black Friday (November 25th) in the US.

 In the online retail space, a total of seven K-Seafood pavilions* hosted on famous online shopping malls, including Amazon of the US and Taobao of China, will be offering various online sales events for overseas consumers. Offline promotional events are to be held in collaboration with large retail stores and Korean food franchisees, including H Mart in the US and Family Mart in Taiwan.

 In addition, Korean seafood exporters will take part in the Jakarta Food Fair in Indonesia, Bangkok K-Fair in Thailand, and the Korean Seafood Fair in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam within the duration of the event to actively explore new markets and hold trade consultations with potential local buyers.
