- September 15th (Friday) – 17th (Sunday): Hosting of a seasonal seafood tasting event at the Haeoreum Square in Sorae Port, Incheon - 

 The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries (Minister Cho Seung Hwan) will be hosting a seafood tasting event during the 23rd Sorae Port Festival, which will be held for 3 days from September 15th (Friday) to 17th (Sunday) at Sorae Port, Incheon, with the aim of promoting seafood consumption.

 The upcoming event is the second of its series hosted by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries to promote seafood consumption, following the seafood festival held at the Gangseo Seafood Wholesale Market last week. The tasting event will take place at the Haeoreum Square, the main venue of the Sorae Port Festival, which will feature free tastings of seasonal seafood products, including rockfish, whitespotted conger, and shrimp, giveaways of seafood recipe booklets and lucky draws.

 While celebrating its 23rd festival this year, the Sorae Port Festival has become one of the main regional events in Namdong-gu, Incheon that involves local residents, artists, and related institutions. Starting with the opening ceremony on September 15th (Friday) at 19:00, the festival will showcase a diverse range of entertainment programs, including celebratory performances by singers, drone performances, seafood cooking contests, street music performances, and fireworks.
